UI/UX Design
Interface and experience design is included in Horizon Tech packages at no extra charge. The SAR 599 website package covers design on your brand and colours, delivered in 48 hours. The SAR 4,399 app and website package covers screen design for both. A standalone design project delivered with a full design system and developer-ready files is priced after a free discovery session. We start from the Arabic text itself, so every element lands where the eye expects it.
What a design project includes
User and competitor research
We analyse your audience and what competitors do well and badly, so design decisions rest on reality rather than taste.
User journey and screen map
We map the path from first visit to completed goal and define every screen needed.
Wireframes
Content order and priority before colour, because fixing structure is far cheaper at this stage.
Final interface design
High-fidelity design in your brand colours and type, for every screen and every state (empty, loading, error).
Interactive Figma prototype
You click through the product before it is built and catch what needs changing while change is still cheap.
Design system for developers
Documented components, colours, type and spacing so the built product matches the design exactly.
Who is this for?
A product before it is built
A change during design costs an hour; the same change after development costs a week. The design budget is insurance on the development budget.
An existing product that is hard to use
When you watch users hesitate at the same step, or ask support about something meant to be obvious.
An Arabic product localized by auto-mirroring
An interface flipped automatically, so icons that should never flip did, and text renders in a typeface never designed for Arabic.
A growing team
When more than one designer or developer works on it and the product starts looking assembled from different apps.
And when you do not need this
- A quick internal prototype testing a technical idea no user will see, do not spend design on it.
- A single very simple page with one goal, a good template is enough.
- When the real problem is the product rather than its interface, design does not rescue a solution nobody needs, and we will say so.
How we work, step by step
Discovery
We understand the product, audience, goal and technical constraints before drawing anything.
Research and analysis
Competitor study and Arabic user behaviour in your specific field.
Wireframes
Screen and content structure reviewed with you before any visual detail.
Visual design
Final interfaces in your brand, with two free revisions per screen.
Handover
Complete Figma file, design system and exported assets ready for the developer.

Tools we use
Costly mistakes, and how we avoid them
| The mistake | What it costs, and what we do instead |
|---|---|
| Auto-mirroring instead of designing for Arabic | Flips icons that should never flip, such as media controls and logos, and breaks numeric alignment. We design for RTL from the ground up with a deliberate decision per icon. |
| Testing the design on the team instead of users | The team already knows the product, so they cannot see what confuses a stranger. We test with five to seven people from your real audience. |
| Measuring what people think of the visuals | People are polite and say "nice". We measure instead whether they completed the task, how long it took, and where they stopped. |
| A Latin typeface on Arabic text | Makes a product look cheap without anyone knowing why. We choose a genuine Arabic typeface and tune line heights for Arabic. |
| Coding before an interactive prototype | Means hundreds of decisions made while writing, with conflicts discovered late. A prototype lets you object while changes still cost nothing. |
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between UI and UX?
UX (user experience) is how the product works: step order, ease of reaching the goal, and screen logic. UI (user interface) is how it looks: colours, type, spacing and icons. A successful product needs both, beautiful design with a bad experience fails, and a great experience that looks poor convinces nobody.
How much does UI/UX design cost?
Design is included in the packages at no extra charge. The SAR 599 website package and the SAR 4,399 app and website package both cover design on your brand. A standalone design project delivered with a full design system and developer-ready files is priced after a free discovery session.
Why not start coding directly?
Because changing a screen in Figma costs minutes, while changing it after development costs days and sometimes a rebuild. The design phase surfaces logic and structure problems while they are still cheap to fix, and usually saves more than it costs.
Do you design properly for Arabic?
Yes. We design for RTL from the ground up: element order, icon direction, spacing, and Arabic typefaces that are genuinely readable on screen. An Arabic interface is not a mirrored English one, and users notice the difference immediately.
What do I receive at the end?
A complete Figma file with access, a clickable interactive prototype, a documented design system (colours, type, components, spacing), and all exported assets ready for the developer.
Do you also build the design?
Yes, and that is the advantage of working with us: the same team designs and develops, so nothing is lost in handover between two parties and the product ships matching the design.
What is the difference between UI and UX, and why do I need both?
UX is the shape of the journey: what steps a user takes to reach their goal and how many can be removed. UI is how those steps are presented: color, type, spacing and states. A beautiful interface over a poor journey produces a product that impresses in a screenshot and is abandoned in use; an excellent journey with a poor interface loses trust before it is tried. The two are built together, not in sequence.

Do I need design before development, or can we start coding?
You need it, and it is not a luxury. Starting to code without design means making hundreds of visual and functional decisions while writing, then discovering their conflicts late. An interactive Figma prototype lets you experience and object to the product while changes still cost almost nothing. The only reasonable exception is a quick internal prototype testing a technical idea no user will see.
What is a design system and when do I need one?
A design system is a single library of buttons, fields, colors, spacing and states used across every screen instead of redesigning each time. You need one once your product passes roughly twenty screens, or when more than one designer or developer works on it, or when you plan multiple products under one identity. Without it, small inconsistencies accumulate until the product looks assembled from different apps.
Is Arabic RTL design just mirroring the layout?
No, and this is the most common flaw we see in localized products. Automatic mirroring flips icons that should never flip, such as media controls and platform logos, breaks the alignment of numbers and dates, and renders Arabic in a typeface never designed for it. We design for RTL from the ground up: a genuine Arabic typeface, line heights tuned for Arabic, and a deliberate decision on every icon about whether it mirrors.
How do we know the design works before building it?
We test it with real users from your audience, not with the project team. Five to seven people surface the large majority of usability problems. We ask them to complete a specific task on the interactive prototype and watch where they hesitate. The signal we rely on is not their opinion of the visuals, people are polite, but whether they completed the task, how long it took, and where they stopped.
